My Trip for Travelling to Oman as a Woman at Public Beaches in Muscat

 Jewel of Arabia
Oman

My first time to the Middle East was to Oman. The people are friendly and kind. Greet and smile their characteristics.

For the current months, Oman is still comfortable for its outdoor activities. Because it's still winter. But if it enters summer, the weather in Oman is very extreme, it can be up to 52 degrees.

I think for the first time, this country is not much different from the UAE (United Arab Emirates). But I was wrong. During my stay here, I did not find skyscrapers. Many of the buildings are still original. Like Fort.

Life here is very peaceful. Nature tourism is very extraordinary. If one year ago, a visa for Indonesia could be used VOA (visa on arrival) with 20 RO 1 month. But now, a visa to Oman uses an online visa system.

Local residents are also happy with outdoor. For traveling around the city alone, if you visit here, you can use a bus that is always there every 15 minutes. 200 baiza per person. It is not difficult to find a bus base, especially if we are just traveling in the city of Muscat.

If you take a taxi, you can share it with other passengers. That means 1 taxi can be filled with 4 passengers. But if you want to try the streets that are far away, you can rent a car, but it is recommended to rent a 4WD car. Because the terrain that is taken can not be if only carrying an ordinary car. Because the contour of the land in Oman is difficult to pass to get to a beautiful & extraordinary area. Like mountains of rocks, rocks and deserts.

A range of $ 70 per day for rentals. Or if you want to camp on the beach, you can rent a caravan, around 70 RO at least 1 day.

The Omani currency is commonly abbreviated as RO, Oman Riyal. 1 RO when converted to dollars around $ 2.5. Expensive? Yes. For Muslims, it is not difficult to find a mosque if you want to pray. For Indonesian people, we often do camping families together by bringing each other's food or potluck to be shared or BBQ together.

This is only part of the area that I uploaded when in the city of Muscat and its surroundings. Because there are many more that have not been informed.

Wahiba desert
For example, why should we use 4wd to get here.

Sinkhole
Formed by the collapse of the surface layer due to the dissolution of the underlying limestone. However, locals believe that it was created by a meteorite, 'Hawaiyat Najm', which translates to 'Falling Star'.

Tanuf
A village located almost halfway between the two largest cities in the Al Dakhiliya region of Oman: Nizwa and Bahla. Apart from being known for its drinking water brand, Tanuf is also famous for the ruins of its historic village.

These ruins are former villages that were inhabited until the 1950s. They live modestly with a little luxury. However, the village was damaged and left behind in the Akhdar Jabal War in the 1950s, and the only thing left is the ruins that you see today.

Ash Shifat Beach
Activities in the wild are challenging in Oman, very suitable for those who like outdoor. Kayaking and fishing are also suitable for lovers of fishing mania.

Jabal Akhdar
From an altitude of 2250 above sea level, the average temperature is 14 degrees. Here are tea plantations, olives, pomegranates, apricots. Lots of camping around here. Hotels here vary in price. There is an overnight 300 RO, there are also more.

For the scenery, amazingly awesome. So here, Lady Diana has visited. To enter this area, make sure we use a 4wd car. Because a lot of extreme climbs have to be passed.
